Mission Viejo Swim & Racquet Club General Emergency Rules

The following Temporary MVSRC Facility Use Rules are intended to make using the MVSRC facilities accessible to the membership while promoting good hygiene and proper social distancing. Please understand that the risk of infection associated with COVID-19 is an unknown and, while MVSRC is taking precautions to minimize the risk, there is no way for the risk to be completely eliminated. Thus, please understand that USE OF THIS FACILITY IS AT YOUR OWN RISK! Also, please understand that MVSRC's ability to keep its facilities open and to mitigate the risk related to COVID-19 is dependent upon everyone working together with social distancing and doing their part to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Tennis - The sport for a lifetime!

MVSRC Emergency Rules for Tennis Courts

1. The tennis courts are available for single and double players, as well as individual private and group lessons with MVSRC Tennis Pro.
2.
Times are reserved in hour and a half time slots and must be reserved through the office. You can reserve a space same day or up to 24 hours in advance, space permitting.
3.
Must maintain 6 feet of separation.
4.
Bathrooms are not available.
5.
Please bring your own hand sanitizer and wipe down the gate upon entering and exiting. Once you are on the court, there will be no re-entering, please be prepared to play only for your allotted time. Some sanitizing wipes and or hand sanitizer will be provided, but these are in short supply.
6.
You must adhere to all existing tennis court rules that are already in place, including the emergency rules.
7. Please no congregating on the benches or in the parking lot.
8.
Please be courteous of other players who are scheduled to play on the court after your reservation is completed. Be prepared and ready to leave a few minutes early so you are not passing other people coming in to play.
9.
Bring your own water, water fountains will not be in use.

If the city, county, or state determine we must close again, this will be implemented immediately.


MVSRC court reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. Our reservation policy is available online, along with Court Key info and Tennis Court Protocol.

Private, semi-private and group classes are available. Children's Tennis camps are available during the summer months. Tennis Pro, Nash Toroman, directs all age and skill groups, from top juniors to recreational players.

Nash's tennis programs develop and advance student physical skills such as hand-eye coordination with a strong emphasis placed on teaching and improving the social skills that are an integral part of the game to each student through clinics, lessons and tournaments. The goal of the junior program is to raise individual skill levels, promote sportsmanship, and build confidence through friendly competition, while still having fun! An appropriate and progressive range of tennis skills is presented to the student, whether at the introductory level, intermediate level, or the advanced level. Adult clinics are also available for beginners, advanced beginners and intermediate players. Contact Nash directly at 949-310-4931.


MVSRC Tennis Pro, Nash Toroman - Nash received his B.A. degree in Sports Administration in 2000 from the University Of Tulsa, Oklahoma. While attending UOT, Nash was captain of his tennis team and was ranked through all four years at the University. During the vacation summer months at UOT Nash provided Tennis instruction at the prestigious Nike Tennis camps. After finishing college, Nash went on the tennis circuit for two years and was internationally ranked in singles and doubles.

Nash completed two years on the circuit and returned to California, where his family resided, to began instructing as a Coach at Advantage Tennis Academy in Irvine, California specializing in US high ranked juniors. Nash's teaching expertise, his strong work ethic and professional demeanor has produced a recognized superior Tennis program here at MVSRC.

Currently, Nash and his wife, Frieda, reside in Los Angeles with their son Liam and precious daughter, Ever.

MVSRC Emergency Limitations for Gym Usage
If the City, County, or State determine we must close again, this will be implemented immediately.


1. Times are reserved in hour time slots and must be reserved through the office. You can reserve a spot same day or up to 24 hours in advance, space permitting.
2. Only ONE person will be permitted in the gym at a time, OR members from the same household.
3. NO GUESTS WILL BE PERMITTED. You must be a registered Club member to use the gym.
4. A face covering is REQUIRED while entering and using the gym, this is for our safety and yours.
5. Bathrooms and kitchen are not available. Please adhere to this rule as the bathrooms and kitchen are for STAFF USE ONLY, this is for our safety and yours.
6. Please use the hand sanitizer when entering the gym and leaving the gym. There is a dispenser on the wall next to the light switch.
7. You are responsible for cleaning/wiping down all the equipment that you use.
8. Bring your own water, water dispenser will not be in use.
9. The waiver to use the gym must be signed and kept on file in the office.
10. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
11. You must adhere to all existing gym rules that are already in place, including the emergency rules.

1. Limited to 24 people per time slot. You must be a registered MVSRC member to use the pool.
2. Members are limited to 4 guests per household.
3. Jacuzzi is limited to 3 people OR members of the same household. Please be courteous of other people wanting to use the spa, and always maintain the recommended 6 feet of separation.
4. Times are reserved in hour and a half time slots and must be reserved through the office. You can reserve a space same day or up to 24 hours in advance, space permitting.
5. Must maintain 6 feet of separation.
6. Sunbathing is allowed, only during the time of your reservation, you will need to maintain the 6 feet of separation and a face covering is recommended when outside of the water. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE THE LOUNGERS.
7. BBQs are now available. Please do not gather with people outside of your household and please be aware of others wanting to use the BBQs.
8. A pool reservation must be made to use the BBQs at this time.
9. There is no glass permitted anywhere near the pool or in the pool area.
10. Bring your own water, water fountains will not be in use.
11. No re-entry. Please come prepared to use the pool, towel, sunscreen, swimmers if needed. Once you are in the pool area, there will be no re-entry because you forgot something.
12. There are no lifeguards on duty, no one under 14 will be allowed without a parent, anyone 14 and over must have a swim card on file to come without a parent/guardian.
13. You must adhere to all existing pool rules that are already in place, including the emergency rules.
14. Bathrooms are available. Please wipe down all surfaces with the sanitizing wipes that are provided.
15.╩There is no eating or drinking (other than water) in the pool area. Please do not congregate or gather with people outside of your household.
16.╩When you are done swimming, or sunbathing, please exit the pool area, even if your swim reservation is not up.╩
17.╩Face coverings are recommended when you are outside of the pool.
18.╩You must adhere to all existing pool/jacuzzi rules that are already in place, including the emergency rules.
19.╩You are using this facility at your own risk. While we are doing everything to minimize the spread of Covid19, transmission may still be possible.

POOL RULES - Pool Occupancy 55
Club, pool and lifeguard hours are listed on our Contact page.

1. Children 7-13, with proper ID are allowed to swim when lifeguards are on duty ONLY.
2. Children under 7 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
3. Nannys and Babysitters must be on file with the club office.
4. No running playing chicken, flips of any kind or horseplay allowed in pool area.
5. No Boogie Boards, tennis balls, water balls, large squirt guns, etc. allowed in pool area. Check with lifeguards or office staff if in doubt. Noodles are allowed unless lifeguards request they be removed.
6. No glass of any kind allowed in or around pool or spa area.
7. No FOOD, GUM, or DRINKS allowed in or next to the pool/spa's edge.

mv womens club

The Mission Viejo Women's Club brings local women together in an informal social environment. The club holds its meetings on the second Tuesday evening of designated months, from September to May. Most meetings are held in the Swim and Racquet Club. The Women's Club raises funds annually for various local causes, including scholarship awards for graduating MVHS seniors residing in the Deane Homes.

Primarily, the club's focus is lighthearted and cheerful and an enjoyable way to get to know other neighborhood ladies, and discuss common issues and interests. If you are curious, just come to a meeting. Potential members are welcome to attend three meetings before deciding to join. Our monthly programs are listed in the Mission Viejo Swim & Racquet Club Newsletter, on the clubhouse marquee and on our online calendar. Member participation is encouraged - whatever your comfort level; there's an opportunity.
